    • "Friends regret to learn of the death of Mrs. Julia Byard of Fly Creek, formerly of Schuyler Lake, which occurred at the Bassett Hospital at Cooperstown Sunday morning from hardening of the arteries and heart disease. She was born August 24, 1861, daughter of William Hutchings and Etta Howland of Cooperstown. She was twice married, her first husband being Stewart Judd and her second husband was Joshua Byard who died some time ago. She leaves one son by her first marriage, Lutie Judd, and one half-sister, Mrs. John B. Hooker of Fly Creek. The funeral was held at Fly Creek."
